What builds up inside a machine
Every wash leaves a little behind. Over months it hardens into deposits you can't see from the outside, and the machine quietly works harder to do the same job.
Hard-water scale
Limescale coats the heater and pipes. Water heats slower, cycles use more electricity, and parts wear out sooner.
Smell and grey marks
Trapped residue turns musty, and light clothes pick up grey streaks and specks from the drum.

Empty the pack
Pour the whole 100 g pack into the detergent tray on a front loader, or straight into the drum on a top loader or semi-automatic. No clothes, no detergent.

Run a normal wash
Choose your usual program and let it run. Be-Grin dissolves the scale and scum while the machine does the work.

Rinse once with plain water
Run one more cycle with just water to flush everything out. When it drains, the machine is ready for your next load.
Use it every three months. If your water is very hard, once a month keeps the machine clear. Safe for front-load, top-load and semi-automatic machines.

Fourteen years of looking after machines
Be-Grin introduced India's first washing machine cleaner in 2012, at a time when most households had never thought of cleaning the machine itself. The idea was simple: hard water and detergent residue were quietly shortening the life of a costly appliance, and a single pack every few months could stop that.
The product is made in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and the formula is still the one we started with. It is designed to be safe for every type of domestic machine and gentle enough that nothing needs to be taken apart.
Questions people ask
Does my machine really need cleaning?
Yes. Every load leaves a little dirt, detergent and mineral residue behind. Most of it washes away, but some stays and builds up over months. A musty smell, grey marks on light clothes, or longer heating times are the usual signs.
How do I use it?
With the machine empty, pour the whole pack into the detergent tray (front load) or directly into the drum (top load or semi-automatic). Run a normal wash cycle, then one more cycle with plain water. Don't add clothes or detergent.
How often should I use it?
Once every three months for most homes. If your water is very hard, once a month keeps scale from building up again.
Is it safe for all washing machines?
Yes. Be-Grin is suitable for front-load, top-load and semi-automatic machines of every brand. It dissolves deposits without touching the metal or rubber parts.
How does it work?
As the cleaner circulates during the wash cycle, it increases the solubility of the build-up. The active ingredients dissolve soap scum and hard-water deposits, and the rinse cycle flushes them out of the machine.
I still see deposits after one use. What now?
A machine with heavy, long-standing build-up can need two or three treatments before it is fully clear. If deposits remain after that, there may be a mechanical issue worth having a technician look at.
